A proud Wisconsin native, Jay Schroeder was born and raised in Clintonville, where he learned the values of hard work, integrity, and the importance of a handshake. As a devoted husband, father, and accomplished business leader, Jay understands that the decisions made in Madison today will define the Wisconsin our children inherit tomorrow. His professional background has equipped him with the leadership skills necessary to manage complex systems and deliver results—traits he is now bringing to the fight for the American Dream.
Wisconsin is currently one of only 14 states that delegates its election oversight to an appointed, unelected commission. Since its inception in 2016, the Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) has proven to be a failed experiment. In 36 other states, the Secretary of State serves as the chief election official, providing a direct line of accountability to the voters.
Jay believes that the current system is an arbitrary disaster that lacks the transparency Wisconsinites deserve. He is committed to:
Restoring Authority: Moving the role of Chief Election Official back to the Secretary of State.
Ensuring Transparency: Implementing rigorous records transparency so every citizen can trust the process.
Securing the Vote: Removing the “bureaucratic shield” of the WEC to ensure that election officials are accountable to the people, not political appointees.
For Jay, politics isn’t about rhetoric; it’s about results. Strengthening our communities means ensuring our local economies thrive and our families feel secure. Jay’s career has been defined by a relentless drive to protect the Wisconsin way of life. By fighting for election integrity and governmental transparency, he is laying the groundwork for a state where every resident has a fair shot at achieving their American Dream.
Jay Schroeder isn’t just running for an office; he is running to return power to the people. He stands for a Wisconsin where the government is open, the elections are secure, and the leadership is accountable.
